2. Scope
These Terms apply to products sold by TECHNAUTIQ through its online store.
Products may include, but are not limited to:
- Starlink equipment and accessories;
- Starlink Mini related equipment;
- Iridium satellite phones and accessories;
- Garmin inReach devices and accessories;
- satellite communication equipment;
- marine networking equipment;
- nautical electronics;
- marine connectivity products;
- cybersecurity-related hardware;
- marine accessories;
- technical equipment and accessories.
Rental transactions are additionally governed by our separate Rental Terms & Conditions.
Where a rental-specific provision conflicts with these Terms of Sale, the Rental Terms & Conditions shall prevail for the rental transaction concerned.
3. Customer Eligibility
Customers must be legally capable of entering into a contract.
Customers placing orders on behalf of a company, yacht, charter company, vessel operator or other organisation confirm that they have authority to bind that organisation.
TECHNAUTIQ may refuse or cancel an order where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, incorrect customer information or unlawful use of the equipment.
4. Product Information
TECHNAUTIQ takes reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices displayed on the website are accurate.
However, photographs are illustrative and may not constitute a contractual representation of minor differences in packaging, colour, accessories or manufacturer revisions.
Technical specifications provided by manufacturers including Starlink, Garmin and Iridium may change without notice.
Customers remain responsible for verifying that the selected equipment is suitable for their intended application, vessel, destination and operating environment.
5. Satellite Services and Third-Party Subscriptions
Certain products sold by TECHNAUTIQ require services provided by third parties.
This may include:
- Starlink service plans;
- Iridium airtime;
- Garmin inReach subscriptions;
- satellite communication services;
- mobile applications;
- cloud services;
- third-party connectivity platforms.
Unless expressly indicated on the product page, purchasing hardware from TECHNAUTIQ does not automatically include a satellite subscription, airtime package or service contract.
Activation, service coverage, pricing and availability may depend upon the third-party service provider.
TECHNAUTIQ cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party satellite or telecommunications networks.
6. Geographic Availability
TECHNAUTIQ primarily supplies customers within France and other European countries.
Delivery availability may vary according to:
- destination;
- carrier restrictions;
- product type;
- lithium battery restrictions;
- telecommunications regulations;
- customs requirements;
- export restrictions.
TECHNAUTIQ reserves the right to refuse delivery to destinations where transport or legal restrictions prevent fulfilment.
7. Prices
Prices displayed on the website are shown in euros unless otherwise stated.
For consumers within the European Union, prices will normally include VAT where applicable.
Shipping charges are calculated separately unless expressly included.

An order becomes binding once payment has been accepted and TECHNAUTIQ has issued an order confirmation.
TECHNAUTIQ reserves the right to cancel an order where:

- delivery is impossible;

Any amount already paid will then be refunded.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been guaranteed.

- document visible damage;
- notify the carrier where appropriate;
- contact TECHNAUTIQ promptly.

13. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable under French and European consumer law, consumers purchasing remotely generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, beginning from receipt of the goods.
The customer must notify TECHNAUTIQ of the decision to withdraw before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
The customer then normally has 14 days to return the goods.
Products should be returned complete, with accessories and, where reasonably possible, original packaging.
The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
The customer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
Certain statutory exceptions may apply, including for personalised or custom-made products.
14. Custom-Made Products
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to products made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
This may include, for example:
- custom cordage;
- custom mooring lines;
- products manufactured to specific dimensions;
- personalised equipment;
- specially configured products where legally applicable.
The applicable conditions will be stated before purchase where relevant.

- radio communication regulations;
- telecommunications laws;
- local restrictions.
Satellite communication equipment must not be relied upon as the sole method of navigation, emergency communication or distress signalling where regulations require dedicated safety equipment.
19. Limitation of Liability
TECHNAUTIQ shall not be responsible for indirect losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
- satellite network outages;
- GNSS/GPS disruption;
- third-party telecommunications failures;
- Starlink service interruptions;
- Garmin service interruptions;
- Iridium network interruption;
- incorrect installation;
- customer configuration errors;
- misuse;
- unauthorised modifications.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
20. Force Majeure
TECHNAUTIQ shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events reasonably outside its control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, transport disruption, telecommunications outages, government restrictions or severe weather.
21. Intellectual Property
All original TECHNAUTIQ content, including texts, graphics, photographs, logos and website content, is protected by intellectual property law.
Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Starlink, Iridium, Garmin, inReach and other trademarks referenced on this website belong to their respective owners.
Unless expressly stated, their appearance on TECHNAUTIQ does not imply ownership of or affiliation with those brands.
